On September 11 2014 the Australian Taxation Office granted Growing Cambodia Inc Deductible Gift Recipient status. Our organisation has also been registered as a charity. Receipts will be issued for all tax deductible donations above $ 2 made after this date…

IT WAS a night to remember for all those who attend- ed the Hurricane Hill Re-unite on New Year’ s Eve at the Cowes Golf Club.
For many it was a step back in time to the days when utes, eskies, shorts and thongs were the norm at this once popular event, while for others it was simply an opportunity to get together with friends and dance the night away to the sounds of the ‘80s and the Laing Brothers band…

Katandra Garden Open Day Fundraiser

TREVOR and Adrienne Ware, their son Matt, and two of their grandchildren, Jack and Ryder Evans, are pictured with visitors Mel Marks (left) and Joy Niven (right) during the Open Garden Day event held at the Wares’ beautiful Cowes property, Katandra, on Sunday. Over 300 visitors turned out to the event, which raised $3200 for ‘Growing Cambodia’.
Growing Cambodia is a local organisation established by the Davie family that works to help break the poverty cycle for Cambodian children…

THE Ware family is opening up their property “Katandra” at 4 Set- tlement Road, Cowes on Sunday, November 3, from 10 am to 4 pm, with all the proceeds being donated to the Phillip Island project, “Grow- ing Cambodia Inc.”The purpose of this project is pro- vide free English lessons for rural Cambodian children, giving them a chance to take control of their fu- ture and to break the poverty cycle…

  • The children are just delightful and it was a pleasure to work with such dedicated staff. This trip has been busy but very rewarding….. I am learning so much more about this incredible country and all its difficulties. I can see why so many people are so passionate about Cambodia.
